Are you a middle or high school student interested in journalism? Do you want to work one-on-one with experienced Harvard Journalists? Do you want to get published on the Harvard Political Review? If so, join the HPR's one-week bootcamp this summer!

Top Five Sites for Cats and Politics

The Internet loves cats. The HPR loves politics. When you bring them together, it’s going to be absolute glory. Here are the top five Web sites and blogs with the best of cats in politics.

  1. 43249751193An oldie, but a goodie: We Are The 99 Purrcent was popular at the peak of the Occupy movement. This is the only place on the Internet where you’ll be able to find adorable kitties with cardboard signs and double entendres on “fat cat.”
  2. My personal favorite: International Relations as Depicted by Cats is classy, well designed, and oh-so-cute.
  3. UnPolitic Your Feeds replaces all political news and images with cats. The best way to drown out the pundits is with purrs.
  4. Cats on Mitt Romney should have been named Kittens on Mittens, but it still cracks the top five.
  5. As a political review, we have to include at least one blog about journalism. Here’s News Cat Gifs!–enjoy procrastinating.
